Gary wanted a simple yet effective pedal that he could use as a stand alone overdrive/distortion or as a boost for the dirty channel of his amp. He also wanted to keep the pedal affordable and at a price that anyone could afford. True Bypass, 9 volt battery or DC adapter operation.
